As a Production Graphic Designer at Oakwell Ventures, you will play a pivotal role in the creation and production of graphics and packaging design for our diverse range of health and wellness brands. Your expertise in package design, production graphics, and die lines will be crucial in ensuring the visual appeal and functionality of our products in the market. You will work closely with our brand development team, marketing experts, and production specialists to bring our innovative products to consumers while maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Design and produce packaging artwork, labels, and product graphics for various health and wellness consumer goods brands.
• Create and modify dielines and production-ready files for packaging, ensuring they meet industry and production specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with brand guidelines, market trends, and consumer preferences.
• Conduct thorough research on industry best practices, materials, and printing techniques to improve the visual and tactile appeal of our products.
• Prepare and deliver design files that are print-ready and optimized for various production methods, including flexography, digital printing, and more.
• Participate in pre-production checks and reviews to verify the accuracy of artwork and dielines before manufacturing.
• Manage and organize design assets, maintaining version control and asset libraries.
• Provide input on cost-effective design solutions without compromising the integrity of the brand identity.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging design and packaging trends, materials, and regulatory requirements in the health and wellness industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in package design and production graphics, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).Knowledge of die lines, dielines, and production requirements for various packaging types and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a cross-functional team.
• Understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and consumer behavior in the health and wellness sector.
• Familiarity with printing techniques, color management, and the production process.Adaptability and creativity to solve design and production challenges.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations and industry-specific compliance is a plus.
